We thank you so much for being in the Explearning community.

Whether you’ve been subscribed to our channel since my very first post in January 2019, have found us through our Communication and Interview Prep web courses, or have just found our channel we are so happy you are here.

Communication and Cross-Cultural Communication hold an incredibly special place in my heart.

Both Greg and I have studied, worked, and lived abroad, speaking multiple languages and navigating through various cultures. And being able to effectively communicate cross-culturally is both a welcomed challenge and a reward.

Speaking of navigating different languages and cultures, we have a new channel called Advanced English, designed to be a supplemental resource for Explearners who are second language learners (ESL). For a deep dive on communication, conversation, and social skills topics in American English you can check out Advanced English. We have a YouTube channel and a website.

Even with those with whom you might share the same mother tongue, being able to socially engage with one another authentically and meaningfully, can be mentally challenging and social-anxiety inducing. But when we are are to build rapport, have a deep conversation, and foster strong social ties it's an amazing, unmatched feeling!

So that’s why we’re here.

And since you’re here, you know how important it is to connect with another human and engage in social interaction. You know the importance of understanding one another but also ourselves through introspection (intrapersonal communication).

My goal has been - continues to be - enabling you to strengthen your mental fortitude to help deepen stronger social connections.

That’s why we keep showing up and I thank you for doing the same.
