In this blog post I wanted to take this opportunity to do a little Storytime.

Let’s talk about the realities of being an online content creator. 

If you are brave enough to create content and share it with the rest of the world you’ll know that it requires perseverance and resilience.

Not to mention a thick skin. 

When you create content and post it online you are really putting yourself out there and are super vulnerable to critics and naysayers.

But that’s only if people see your content.

When first starting out, be it with a YouTube video, a blog post, a podcast episode or a newsletter, there’ll be a lot of silence.

Crickets, to be precise. 🦗 🦗 🦗 

And that’s just par for the course.

The truth is that you can put up all the content you want but if no one is seeing it you won’t have the impact you want.
